Communist Site Blogs
These are all of our blogs on communist sites at A Brit and a Broad.
It may seem strange to blog about communist sites from around the world but what can we say, we find them fascinating! From the fall of the Soviet Union, countries like Bulgaria, Kosovo, Moldova, Ukraine and others all gained their independence once again. Many of these destroyed any trace of the Soviet Union and communism in their country but many monuments and statues still stand today, a symbol to a different time, a past not forgotten.
We love learning all about different cultures and societies, and for us these communist sites are a way to learn about history, a history that’s still very fresh in people’s minds. There’s no saying how long these communist sites will last so make sure you see them now and learn all about the Soviet era before it’s too late!
