Arriba arriba! Nos encanta México! We love Mexico! Seriously, this country has everything going for it. Beautiful beaches, cracking cities, historic sites, a party scene that could trump anyone’s, world class cuisine (we’re talking about tacos people!). We could go on!
When we first started filming Mexico was high on our list of places to visit and we shot our second episode, Travel in Mexico City, while travelling around the country. A few of our other highlights were visiting Oaxaca, a city that’s famous for its food, and diving the cenotes near Tulum, without a doubt one of the best dive sites in the world. Yep, when we say we love Mexico, we really mean it!
I knew Cenote Angelita was a dive site like no other, truly a once in a life time experience, but I never expected it to be anything like this.
San Cristóbal de las Casas is a hub for both Mexican and international tourists, and with Spanish charm and ingenious roots, it’s really no wonder why.
In this episode Macca and Brianna get a little taste of Oaxaca, a city that’s famous for its food, from eating tacos to deep fried crickets and live maggots.
It’s stunning to think a site such as Teotihuacan is only an hour outside of Mexico City, and these ancient pyramids are arguably the best in all of Mexico.
Does Mexico City have a bad reputation? Macca and Brianna experience just a snippet of the city, and they discover it is full of surprises.
