While exploring the abandoned settletment of Kangeq I couldn’t help but ask myself the question, just what would life have been like to live here?
Travel Tour Blogs
These are all of our travel tour blogs at A Brit and a Broad.
Travel tours really are a great way of seeing a particular country or continent, especially if you’re short on time. The best thing about travel tours is you pack so much in, and you do it with like-minded people too. If you’re ever worried about travelling on your own then you should look at doing a tour, even if only for a day or two; you are always guaranteed to meet someone who you’ll get on with!
We’ve been on a fair few tours in our time, from cooking courses to street art tours to longer two week tours, and every one we’ve come back from there’s always something we’ve really enjoyed. A few of our favourite tours we’ve been on are island hopping in Bocas del Toro, visiting Valle de la Luna in northern Chile, and eating our way through the streets of Istanbul. No matter what tour you decide to go on you’re bound to have an amazing time!
If you want to learn about Turkish culture while sinking your teeth into its delicious cuisine at the same time then take a food tour of Istanbul!
The number one activity in the Colchagua Valley is wine tasting, and you can’t visit this part of the world without trying a few glasses (or bottles!) of wine.
Learning all about the Mapuche culture is a must while you’re in Pucon, and you certainly couldn’t ask for a more beautiful setting to do it in.
There are few places around the world that truly take your breath away, but the Altiplanic Lagoons is one of those places that’ll leave you breathless.
There’s a reason why they call this place the Valle de la Luna, and at times it feels as if you’re a million miles away. It really is out of this world!
If you’re heading to northern Chile then you’ve simply got to take a tour of the El Tatio geyers, a place that will take your breath away.
Our stop in Bocas del Toro was filled with days on turquoise waters, delicious eats and a few too many dance moves (after a few too many juices).
If you’re looking for some things to do in Puerto Viejo, check out what we got up to at the Jaguar Rescue Center and in the chocolate forest of Caribeans.
Caye Caulker, the tiny islands off the coast of Belize, was the perfect place for Macca and Brianna to kick back and chill out for a few days.
One of the things I knew I had to do in British Columbia was experience a wine tour, and the Naramata Valley was the perfect place to do it.
