Here are a couple of teaser videos to Costa Rica and Panama for you
Recently we teamed up with the guys over at some travel company called Lonely Planet (if you haven’t heard of them they’re only the largest travel guide book publishers in the world) producing a couple of teaser videos to Costa Rica and Panama for you.
It turns out they’re fans of ours (whoop whoop), and as we’re massive fans of theirs we were incredibly excited and honoured to be working with them doing what we do best – showcasing some of the things you can see and do while on the road travelling.
About six months ago, Lonely Planet launched their new Pathfinders community, a place where travel writers and bloggers are encouraged to post their best stories and to join an ever-expanding network of travel experts.
When Lonely Planet initially launched Pathfinders, they were looking for community sourced user generated content to bring “the very best travel blog content for curious travellers like you”.
As they were looking for some content on Central America, they thought “hey, don’t we know some British boy and Canadian gal traipsing around there at the moment?”, so they commissioned us to make a couple of videos on Costa Rica and Panama.
Even though Costa Rica is without a doubt the most touristy country in all of Central America, it is for a reason, and there’s so much you can see and do there.
The Costa Rican government and tourist board have worked very closely together over the years to ensure all natural habitats are kept in pristine condition, and because of that the country is famous for its dense rainforests and wonderful wildlife.
Also, if you’re looking for an adventure and to get that adrenaline pumping, Costa Rica really is one of the places to go; it has bungee jumping, canyoning, kayaking, white-water rafting, ziplining and a whole host of other things too.
I could go on, but to give you a real quick insight into what Costa Rica is like you’re going to have to watch our video.
Next up is Panama. Most travellers are really surprised by Panama, mainly because it is much more modern than they anticipate; the capital, Panama City, is much more like Miami than any other Central American city, and it really is a bustling metropolis.
As we say in our video, it really is a city you’ve just got you immerse yourself in and wander around, and there are so many hidden secrets if you’re willing to uncover them.
Further north, the islands of Bocas del Toro continue to astound everyone who visits them, and for us they were the perfect place to kick back and relax for a few days; hopefully we’ve shown that!
So far it’s been great working with Lonely Planet – with a bit of luck we will be able to do some more videos with them in the future – and we really hoped you enjoyed these little teasers!
Obviously we will still be doing our full episodes on Costa Rica and Panama on our YouTube channel, so make sure you keep an eye out for that, and our next episode will be on Honduras & El Salvador – as ever, stay tuned and keep watching!
